[lfn-odl-onap-collab] Reminder: ONAP/ODL Integration Sync @ 10am to 11am Pacific Tuesday, July 21

TIMONEY, DAN <dtimoney@...>

All,

Are we still having this call today?  Just checking because I thought I remembered an earlier email thread when we said perhaps this call was no longer needed.

To share our plans for ONAP – our current release (Honolulu) is now based on Aluminum SR1.  We had planned to upgrade to SR2, but then thought better of it when we saw a discussion on the opendaylight mailing lists regarding a potential security vulnerability in the restconf project in SR2.  Unfortunately, I’m not sure that SR3 will be available in time for us to use (our release signoff for Honolulu is scheduled for 4/1).  However, if this is a vulnerability that is already present in SR1, then we would probably look to upgrade to SR3 in a subsequent Honolulu maintenance release.

Our next release (Istanbul) will be based on Silicon.  When we get closer to the dates (we don’t have a schedule yet for Istanbul), I’ll be in a better position to say which service release we plan to align with.

Dan

Thanks for the feedback, I personally cannot make the meeting today (have a conflict) but maybe others can.
