Regarding forwarding decisions in L2switch in Sodium-SR4

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to figure out how forwarding decisions are being made in l2switch for Sodium-SR4 at https://github.com/opendaylight/l2switch. I can see NetworkGraphService in the loop remover section but I'm not entirely sure.

Could anyone please help me to understand it?

Thank you.

Warm regards

Hi Sudhanshu,

Unfortunately this project is not supported so it is hard to reach the people that originally wrote this application. AFAIR l2switch uses very simple approach of sending incoming packets to all available ports (except the ingress port) and then it uses the loop remover to block ports in the topology and therefore avoid packet loops, similar to the Spanning Tree protocol.
