Functest Kubernetes v1.21 is out! #release #announcement

I eagerly announce the release of Functest Kubernetes v1.21.

Please note that Hunter, Iruya and Jerma were closed a few days ago.
All releases from Kali are still very well maintained.

It should be noted that Functest dropped the former river logic because Anuket TSC simply broke its compatibility/meaning and hasn’t voted M-release for the last 6 months.
Be aware that Kali as voted by OPNFV TSC is about Kubernetes v1.19 (see: CNTT RC2 Baraque) but Anuket Kali will be based on Kubernetes v1.21.
At least, following the upstream releases should be a good choice for our endusers and will allow releasing Functest Kubernetes every 4 months as expected by Kubernetes.
A couple of new test cases have been added for the last months integrating more tests from e2e tests (see functest-kubernetes-smoke:v1.21).
They are basically divided by Special Interest Groups (SIG) and by their capabilities to be executed in parallel or not.

Please note also netperf which is a benchmark to measure Kubernetes networking performance and cnf_conformance which has been renamed cnf_testsuite (following the upstream change)

Functest Kubernetes v1.21 will be part of Reference Conformance suite for Kubernetes (RC2) released in July.
Then RC2 is already in a good shape ; the test case descriptions would be updated according to the ongoing work in Reference Architecture for Kubernetes (RA2).
