Re: [OpenDaylight Discuss] [COMMITTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOMINATION] 2014 ODL Committer Board Member Election Process Has Begun

Ed Warnicke (eaw) <eaw@...>

I hereby declare my intent to run for a Committer-at-Large seat on the board.

Most folks know me from my broad involvement with many projects at ODL, and my work on the Helium Release.

I’d like to take that breadth of exposure and represent committers to the board :)

Hello OpenDaylight Committers:

This email serves as the kick-off for the Nomination Phase of the OpenDaylight 2014 Committer Board Member Election.

Any committer may nominate themselves to stand for election. Note that committers cannot nominate another committer to run for election. If a committer wants another committer to run, they should express their support to that individual and suggest that the other committer run for election.

To submit a nomination, the committer must reply-all to this (original nomination) email stating their interest to stand for the election.

All nominees are invited to publish their Picture, Biography, and Statement of Intent on the election wiki page (here: https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/Committer_Board_Members:2014_Election) so that the committer community can learn more about the candidate and their intentions for the role of Committer Board Member. The nominee ordering on the election wiki page will be in ascending alphabetical order by last name.

The Nomination phase will end on October 17th at Midnight UTC, 17:00 PDT.

Please see the following Wiki pages for more information:

If you have any questions on this election, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks,

Phil.
