Re: scheduling project proposals

Colin Dixon

I just wanted to reach out again. We've had 3 new project proposals:
These new projects will be eligible for a creation review starting with the 12/4 meeting. We also have formal dates for when the creation review must happen (by M1 in the Lithium release plan [0]). My guess is that most of these projects will want to participate at offset 2 and that would mean the last date for a creation review would be 1/8, but projects should feel free to make that determination on their own.

So far, we have only scheduled two creation reviews: SXP for tomorrow and CAPWAP for 11/20.

For the other project proposals, please let the TSC know when and if you'd like to have your creation review.

Thanks,
--Colin

Hi all,

If you're on the To: line of this mail it's because you've recently proposed a project to be considered by the TSC which has met the two week public review period and is eligible to have a creation review during tomorrow's (or any later) TSC meeting.

I wanted to reach out to ask if you are ready for a creation review at this point and when you might like to schedule it.

I'll note that during the 10/23 meeting [0], we agreed that the last date to have the creation review done in order to participate in the Lithium release would be no earlier than 11/21, 12/5 and 12/12 for offset 0, 1 and 2 projects. (For definitions of offsets see the draft lithium release plan [1].)

Along those lines, there is no *need* for creation reviews to be scheduled for tomorrow. Further, my guess is that most (if not all) of these projects will be offset 1 or offset 2 meaning it won't be necessary to have a creation review for another several weeks. Even for offset 0 projects, we have the 11/6, 11/13, and 11/20 TSC meetings remaining.
