NETCONF committer nomination: Ivan Hrasko
Robert Varga
Hello NETCONF committers, everyone,
I would like to nominate Ivan Hrasko as a committer on the NETCONF project. Ivan has been engaging with the community, leading to the resolution of a number of end user issues as well as driving overall direction of the project -- as evident in https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/q/owner:ivan.hrasko%2540pantheon.tech as well in https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/q/reviewer:ivan.hrasko%2540pantheon.tech. The patch to make this promotion lives at https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/c/netconf/+/105719. NETCONF committers: please vote as usual with +1/0/-1 either in reply to this message or on the patch itself. Everybody else, feel free to chime in in the same manner: your input, though not binding as per OpenDaylight governance, is still very much welcome! Thanks, Robert |

Re: [release] ONAP/ODL sync of 2023-04-18

Hi
thanks for the feedback Robert ! It sounds
quite good 👍 I agree that bypassing Chlorine to go ahead with Argon makes senses. Let me know if ONAP still has any trouble with RFC8040 migration

Envoyé : mardi 18 avril 2023 21:43 À : tsc@...; release@...; onap-tsc@... Objet : [release] ONAP/ODL sync of 2023-04-18 Hello,
just FYI, on today's sync call with ONAP we have concluded that the best option for ONAP Montreal is to use ODL 2023.03 Argon. The reasoning is that while MRI projects are expected to be released by Montreal M3 (2023-09-14), the SR is scheduled a week after that, and the impacts of 2023.09 are not understood well enough to make any promises. 2023.03 is already out there and by Montreal M3 will have SR2, hopefully ironing out any and all non-ONAP integration issues. This leaves us with 2023.03 Argon SR3 as the delivery vehicle for any ONAP Montreal integration issues (hopefully there will be none). On the good side, ONAP is seeking to obsolerte the bierman02 RESTCONF component (which they adopted as a stop-gap measure from us) in Montreal, which should reduce upgrade concerns for 2023.09 and later (yaaay!).
