New project
Lionel Florit (lflorit) <lflorit@...>
Hello,
We have submitted a project proposal we’d like to resent (Internet of Things Data Management (IDM)). Would it be possible to have a conference call slot?
Thank you
Lionel

Thank you for letting us know. I've added the proposal to the future topics of the TSC agenda here: https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/TSC:Main#Future_Topics Our lifcycle process [0] requires a two week waiting period before the project can be reviewed for a formal creation review [1]. That would mean the first regularly scheduled TSC meeting for which you would be eligible for a creation review would be 11/27. My guess is that meeting will be canceled as it is on Thanksgiving. If you would like to participate in the Lithium Simultaneous Release [2], the last date for a creation review would be 1/8/2015 assuming you'd like to operate as an offset 2 project, which my guess is you will. So, if you let me know which TSC meeting (Thursdays at 10a pacific) you'd like to present at between 12/4 and 1/8, I'd be happy to pencil it in. I'll also note that some projects have found it useful to set up an informal presentation at the the technical work stream call [3] to get feedback from the community. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know. Cheers, --Colin[0] http://www.opendaylight.org/project-lifecycle-releases (see section 2.3 Reviews) [1] https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/Project_Proposals:Main#Guidelines_for_your_Creation_Review [2] https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/Simultaneous_Release:Lithium_Release_Plan [3] https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/Tech_Work_Stream:Main On Tue, Nov 11, 2014 at 7:46 PM, Lionel Florit (lflorit) <lflorit@...> wrote:

Hi Colin,
We are ready to present in the earliest slot you have available for us. We could also present next week…
Best
Lionel

So, my notes have the project proposal being published to the project proposals list on November 12th [0]. That would put the two week public comment period at November 26th, but we've canceled the November 27th meeting of the TSC on account of Thanksgiving. Will December 5th work?On Mon, Nov 17, 2014 at 6:24 PM, Jan Medved (jmedved) <jmedved@...> wrote:

Hi Clin,
It will work for us; we’d like to make sure that we have some time to address any potential issues/showstoppers.
Thanks a lot,
Jan

Actually, I got the date wrong, it's 12/4. Also, since this will almost certainly be an offset 1 or 2 project you'd still have two (or five) weeks to address changes before M1, which is when your creation review needs to be voted on.
