Hello TSC members,
Please vote on the project approval here:
The project is contemplating changing the name to be a slight variation of the original proposed name OpenDaylight Service Automation Framework - to avoid confusions with another open source project called Open SAF (Service Availability Forum - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenSAF). One possibility may be SAA - Service Automation Architecture. If the project decides to use a slight variation of the name SAF, this will be done prior to forming any project pages / repos. Hence the vote for the project proposal can commence in parallel.
As an FYI, there was a TWS session today morning regarding the project architecture. The slides will be posted on https://wiki.lfnetworking.org/x/PQsQAg and Casey will make the recording available in the near future.
Thanks, Abhijit

We have 7 votes - so the project is approved. Congratulations OpenSAF project - welcome to ODL. Please work to create the project repos, inbound code review, etc. I believe the process is still that you have to work with Casey & Steve Winslow for inbound code review - however the LF IT has had a significant dependence on the ticketing system so things may be a bit different. Please check with Tejas as he had the latest experience with a project creation. We can work to document the latest process/new project checklist after that.

@abhijit - Just a small correction - The project name needs to be ODL SAF and not OpenSAF.
