[opendaylight-dev] [OpenDaylight TSC] Use of odl_meetbot

Abhijit Kumbhare

Andy,

We discussed this in the TSC meeting yesterday. It turns out that some projects like NetVirt do use the meetbot for the meeting minutes.

Thanks,
Abhijit

We are not using it for the TSC and TWS meetings - but it’s very possible that the projects may be using it. We can discuss it at the TSC meetings but also over the mailing lists.

Greetings folks,

We're working on migrating the couple of instances of meetbot we have
running to new infrastructure.

What I would like to know is if anyone in the community is actually
still using the odl_meetbot?

If not, we will turn it down instead of migrate it. We'll keep the
meeting minutes (of course). We may also be fixing up the configuration
of our other meetbot to store logs in a more sane / similar manner to
the odl bot and may just merge the bots if folks still need the service.

In any case, please get back to me within the next week or so as so we
can plan this appropriately.

Abhijit,

Thank you for the information. Since we still need to keep a bot running
for ODL we'll see what we can do about possibly getting the
'collab-meetbot' configured such that we can merge the bots.

If we do merge the bots, the old minutes will be moved to a new
location, but we should be able to get a handler in place for rewriting
from the ODL minutes URIs to the new ones.

In any case, the community may see some small bot outage(s) this week as
we work on either migrating the bot or merging the bots.
