Hello Robert and all
When are we going to pick a RC for Argon? @LAMBERT Guillaume TGI/OLN said that they are ready so we can try to release it on time by March 16th?
Thanks

So the first-order merge has been done. I am now working on the
secondary update, currently being at controller.
So far things are looking okay, except the mockito-5 upgrade is flushing
out a few issues. I think I have them mostly sorted, so I expect to have
things lined up tomorrow.

Robert

Hello Daniel, Robert, On TPCE side, I'm not totally ready. 1) I added new yang models in transportpce-models that has entailed a build featue issue on transportpce side => I guess I solved it splitting one feature into two in transportpce-models project. 2) After that, I need to merge several changes currently still under review on transportpce 3) Then, pull out stable/argon branches for both transportpce-models and transportpce projects 4) then, release transportpce-models, and transportpce 5) finally, update change https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/c/integration/distribution/+/104761 on distribution with released versions of transportpce projects I think I still need few days... Hello Daniel,
Yes, sure, things are progressing.
Artifacts for Transportpce-models are released in 18.0.0. I am waiting for the last change of transportpce to be merged (tests are running)
before pulling the stable/argon branch and release it.
So, if everything goes well, in a few hours argon release will be over for transportpce project.

4) then, release transportpce-models, and transportpce
5) finally, update change
https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/c/integration/distribution/+/104761 on distribution with released versions of transportpce projects
I think I still need few days...

Gilles

Hello Daniel,
so my stuff just went in, not sure where tpce is. I think we need to cut branches before considering release, right?

Hello Daniel,
As I said last Friday, I released transportpce artifacts and prepared the change for integration/distribution.
That latter passed the gate, so, everything looks fine since Friday.
I let a committer of Integration/distribution merge it or tell me if something else is expected from my side.
Best Regards,
Gilles

Hello Daniel,
I believe that on TransportPCE side everything is over for the release of Argon.
I released the transportpce-models artifacts in 18.0.0, the transportpce artifacts in 7.0.0 and prepared
the integration/distribution change 104761 to integrate transportpce into the distribution (https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/c/integration/distribution/+/104761).
The latter has passed the gate since this morning and is currently being reviewed.
It will remain us the release note to prepare.
Please let me know if anything else is expected from us.
Best Regards,

Hello Daniel,
Yes, sure, things are progressing.
Artifacts for Transportpce-models are released in 18.0.0. I am waiting for the last change of transportpce
to be merged (tests are running) before pulling the stable/argon branch and release it.
So, if everything goes well, in a few hours argon release will be over for transportpce project.
Gilles

Hello Daniel, Robert,
On TPCE side, I'm not totally ready.
1) I added new yang models in transportpce-models that has entailed a build featue issue on transportpce side => I guess I solved it splitting one feature into two in transportpce-models project.
2) After that, I need to merge several changes currently still under review on transportpce
3) Then, pull out stable/argon branches for both transportpce-models and transportpce projects
4) then, release transportpce-models, and transportpce
5) finally, update change
https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/c/integration/distribution/+/104761 on distribution with released versions of transportpce projects
I think I still need few days...

FYI, I just merged the patch. There was a similar patch for Chlorine so I thought we got all in at that time.
