Thank you for making the HackFest a success!

Christopher Price <christopher.price@...>

I would just like to send out a thank you for all those who were able to make the time to join the HackFest this week.
We had great attendance by those of you who could travel to the event and equally as valuable contributions for those who made the time to join the IRC and Video/WebEx sessions.

Without running through a blow by blow account of the event I'd like to call out a couple of activities that stick in my mind:
* The opening demonstration by the VTN team demonstrating the coordinator orchestrating across multiple mini net instances
* Discussion and collaboration leading in the right directions on the Neutron/OpenStack interface
* The OpenFlow development collective studiously working through process of producing a solid OF 1.0 – 1.3 implementation (maybe I'm bias on this topic)
* Community workshops on infrastructure pieces, "how to" discussions on working with the controller, and kicking off the release a integration process for the simultaneous release.

I hope the trend of demonstration and collaboration continues from the example set this week.
I enjoyed spending my time with every-one and left the event feeling we are on the right track and making progress.

Thanks again,
Chris Price on behalf of the TSC
