This is Arash, from Inocybe Technologies, Montreal, Canada. I am working with the integration team and I started to try TestON, however I am having difficulty in getting it working. My setup is the following:
ODL running in my host machine
Mininet running in a VM connected to ODL and generate the topology tree,3 --switch ovsk
I am having the same topology created in my InocybeTest.topo (attached). When I try to start it by run InocybeTest it gives me an error saying OdlDriver is not known. I am not sure whether the driver for ODL is not working or I am not using it properly.
I appreciate having your guidelines for making it work, if you can provide me some step by step guideline that would be highly appreciated as the online documentation was not very clear.
Sincerely yours,
Arash

Hi Swaraj,
Arash from integration group has volunteered to start looking at TestOn framework, can you please introduce him Paxterra people, specially those that can help him to install the framework. Also Arash, as suggested in the IRC, if you can update the existing wiki with your findings, that would be very good for other people trying TestON later.
Thanks/Luis

Hari Krishna - ON LAB
Meeting Recording :
Team, We had a very engaging demo of TestON Framework - The Features of TestON, the ODL driver and the test cases automated till date to test the ODL controller.
Thanks to Sriram (TestON Architect) and the ONLAB rep (Hari Krishan) for joining the call, in addition to the Paxterra developers and ODL integration team members.
ONLAB is also using TestON heavily as its Test Framework. Hari and team integrated TestON into Jenkins environment and we are leveraging it for ODL.
Following are the AI's and next steps captured.
1.Get the TestON Framework running in the Jenkins environment and test ODL controller in the Ericsson Lab ( AI: Chris O'Shea, Luis, Swaraj, Sudheer)
2. Setup TestON framework to run in ODL build/test environment ( AI - Andrew, Luis, Chris, Swaraj) to run in parallel with Robot Framework.
3. Get the GUI environment demo setup for the test cases written for ODL controller. (AI - Paxterra Team)
4. Evaluate the pro's and con's and take the results and proposal to TWS team and standardize on one test Framework for ODL (AI: Swaraj , Luis, entire integration team + TestON)
Let me know if I missed capturing any key AI.
Regards,
Swaraj
