Hi Everyone,

I would like to set channel modes +r and +f #lf-unregistered to all of the #opendaylight-* channels on IRC. We've been getting a lot of spam recently and to combat this setting the +r mode will force all users joining our channels to be registered.

The mode +f #lf-unregistered will cause unregistered users who try to join one of our channels to be automatically redirected to the #lf-unregistered that has an entry message and topic stating that users need to be registered with instructions on how to register.

This method will help us prevent spam accounts from joining our official channels.

Would the community have any strong objections to adding these mechanisms to our IRC channels?
