Hi Luis,

For Hydrogen release and M4

1)      App migration already started

2)      AD-SAL connections and existing APIs will be still kept.

Regards Tony.

Subject: [controller-dev] MD-SAL migration

Hi controller experts,

I saw you have a deliverable by M4 which is Migration of existing controller apps to MD-SAL. I have 2 basic questions here:

1) Apps migration will start at M4 or will finish at M4?

2)  When apps migrate to MD-SAL, will they still keep their AD-SAL connections as well as existing Java Interfaces and NB REST APIs, or will these last ones be generated from the Yang models?

Thanks/Luis
