Re: [OpenDaylight Discuss] Integration Distribution Build is broken - caused by automatic removal of lispflowmapping 1.1.16-SNAPSHOT from Nexus

Hi Tony,

In this particular case what I did is to merge Robert's patch to point to 1.1.6 release. If a project has the strategy of releasing very often we can use release instead of SNAPHOT for distribution and the release versions never got deleted from Nexus.

Hi All,

Just noticed SP provider distribution build is broken, which prevents pushing any new builds of all distributions.

The reason for breakage is simple – listflowmapping bumped their development version (and they released  old one – 1.1.16),

which was not reflected in SP distribution POM file.

This would be OK, if nexus did not automatically removed 1.1.16-SNAPSHOT which is still refered in SP distribution POM.

The proposed patch to fix this is: https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/6626

This points out other problem – if the one of distributions is broken, other are also not pushed to Nexus,

Which makes distribution snapshots pretty outdated also for unaffected distributions.
