OpenDaylight Base Edition system test
Luis Gomez <luis.gomez@...>
Hi all,
We, the Integration group, have started writing the system test plan for OpenDaylight Base edition:
https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/CrossProject:Integration_Group:CSIT_Test_Plan_Base
Note that system test is based on current controller capabilities, we plan to expand it when new APIs (like OF1.3) get available.
Please let us know your questions, suggestions and comments around the system test.

Thanks luis! We may add more examples on the special items, like link body, host body, flowspec body part, to make it easier for users. Denghui will update the prerequisite part to add more instructions on the test tool running soon.

Hi Baohua and others, I have most of the PUT bodies saved in the Firefox REST client. I did not put them in the wiki because they occupy a lot of space.

Yes, Firefox is a good tool. However, I guess we might turn to curl scripts/python etc. in future, as it will be easier to repeat and program. As my though, the result validation should also automatically completed in program, i.e., using curl to get the result, and compare with the pre-stored answer we set.
No worry, I will provide some scripts to see how this works. :) On Tue, Oct 29, 2013 at 10:12 AM, Luis Gomez <luis.gomez@...> wrote:

Sure, next step is to full script/automate the system test. What I meant before is that body requests for most of the test cases you see in the wiki page are already stored in the firefox REST tool in case someone wants to take a look.
