I am not sure how familiar you are with OpenDaylight controller, but there are 2 ways to “feel and touch” the controller:

-          Make your own controller: https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/OpenDaylight_Controller:Installation

-          Use the ODL Lab at Ericsson: https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/CrossProject:Integration_Group:Test_Tools

- Please help by getting Phuc & Saritha in loop with the automation team, so they can start discussing on the framework and the automation part.

For the test plan, I will work on what you have provided below and wait for the Dove test plan to give all the inputs from IBM test team side.
