Hi Madhusudhan,
the message "have protocol params!" has been added to mininet scripts (into node.py). The reason is, that ovs runs by default OF-1.0 protocol. And in order to use OF-1.3 there is a parameter which needs to be delivered to ovs via mininet.
So if you omit the
protocols=OpenFlow13 you wont get this message anymore, but ovs will fallback to OF-1.0 protocol.

However, If I create a topology in mininet after I start OFController, I am getting the below error.

I am not sure of the above thing "protocol params"
