While the elections proceed, apologies on behalf of the TSC for the long delay for not having this considered sooner after the email back and forth. The proposal has been around for a long time - that people may have lost the context to have it for the vote in today's TSC meeting (or the next as since some of the TSC may be out on vacations). Hence I think it will be better to vote over email as it will give folks a chance to go thru the proposal again and overall will be faster than waiting for the next appropriate APAC TSC meeting. I will just take the liberty to initiate the vote.
