Issues to add new code

BA

Hi all,

I would like to improve the Moon driver realm but the code in  aaa-shiro/impl/ is no longer appearing in eclipse (project explorer) with the new hierarchy of AAA and that makes difficult to add  new code

I also observe that karaf debugging mode fails to a few seconds after “./bin/karaf debug”.

Any suggestion to solve these issues ?

Best regards,

I am not familiar with eclipse import procedures.  The issue is likely that the package naming doesn't contain impl.  This was done on purpose, as when we moved to archetype setup we didn't update the packages.  That is because for some long historical reasons, downstream dependencies would need to be updated too.  That is a lot of work and not suited for pre release activity.

I also observe that karaf debugging mode fails to a few seconds after “./bin/karaf debug”.

Is there an error message?  Not really giving us much to go on here...

Hi Ryan,
There is no log because that process running on 5005 stops a few seccond after "/bin/karaf debug". I wonder it's due to a misconfigution in AAA project ?

Which IDE do you use to import the project ?

there is no karaf.log or karaf.out?

I use intellij.  You may have to mess with the settings to get it ot import correctly.  Someone was working on a fix in Carbon but it slipped; we will look in Nitrogen.

Hi,

As Ryan says, I was working on a patch for this during Carbon, I'll do it in Nitrogen.

Best regards,

David.
