Usability Study

Lea Groeber <lgroeber@...>

Dear developers of the OpenDaylight project,

my name is Lea Gröber. I am a researcher in computer science at Saarland University, Germany. My group is currently conducting a user study to investigate the usability of security libraries

We figured out that you use odl-aaa-encryption-service as a security library in https://github.com/opendaylight/aaa.
We would be very interested in the reasons why you decided for this specific library and did not choose a different one.
Therefore, we would like to invite the developers who worked with this lib and were involved in the decision to participate in a brief interview on the phone, on Skype or slack.

In principle I am interested in any security-relevant library you might have worked with. It does not have to be in a special project or programming language.
If you worked with other security libs, those are equally relevant for this study. (In general a security-relevant library is a lib, that solves a security related programming task for you, e.g. authentication, signing or encryption - or just the generation of a secure hash value).

If participating in this line of research sounds interesting to you and you would like to support my current work, please contact me either via email, Skype or Slack:
