[release] Autorelease carbon failed to build odl-alto-simpleird from alto
Jenkins <jenkins-dontreply@...>
Attention alto-devs,
Autorelease carbon failed to build odl-alto-simpleird from alto in build 287. Attached is a snippet of the error message related to the failure that we were able to automatically parse as well as console logs. Console Logs: https://logs.opendaylight.org/releng/jenkins092/autorelease-release-carbon/287 Jenkins Build: https://jenkins.opendaylight.org/releng/job/autorelease-release-carbon/287/ Please review and provide an ETA on when a fix will be available. Thanks, ODL releng/autorelease team |

Dear releng/autorelease team, As far as I can see, the failure seems to repeat Bug 8342 but I
can't say for sure with only the console output. Thus, I updated
the spread sheet but left the bug number blank. Regards, Kai On 05/02/2017 06:23 AM, Jenkins wrote:

Huh. The static logs (and thus archives with surefire reports) seem to be missing from the link given above. As a consequence, I can't confirm what you're saying, but it seems likely if that's a feature bundle. I'm hoping to get people to fix the hangs in SingleFeatureTests. --Colin On Tue, May 2, 2017 at 10:33 AM, Kai <godrickk@...> wrote:

I read the console output following the second link and it does hang during a SingleFeatureTest. Since SFT does not raise any problem when building the project alone and this problem happens in a relatively random manner, I wonder if it has something to do with system resources. Perhaps it's not the best practice but I think it may be reasonable to proceed the build with -rf option to see if there are other bugs before this can be fixed. Thanks for looking into it Kai: We're tracking what we know about the SFT hangs here: It seems like it's an unlikely bundle load order mishap that happens more often in autorelease, but not exclusively there. --Colin On Tue, May 2, 2017 at 11:47 AM, Kai Gao <gaok12@...> wrote:
