Hi Mahesh Govind and CAPWAP Team,

This is the formal release review of the CAPWAP project over email. Please reply with links to the Release Review and Release Notes of the project as well as any additional comments regarding the project in Boron. TSC members, committers, and the OpenDaylight community are welcome to offer any questions, comments, or actions that the project should address.

Hello An Ho,

I had already updated the Boron tracking sheet which you have shared @

As of Boron, our focus was to add CAPWAP functionality (Protocol parsing, Various Message handling, Scalable infrastructure using Akka etc) into the project. It is far from perfect and the external interfaces remain unchanged. We expect major changes in the interfaces along with end to end working functionality in the upcoming release.

Please do revert back in case you have additional queries.

Regards,
Abi

fyi, the CSIT jobs for capwap are not meeting system test expectations so all features
for capwap should be released as "experimental".

Thanks,
JamO

Hello Jamo,

I think setting an experimental status to CAPWAP is fine.

Regards,
Abi

First, I think An will tell you this, but I'll say it first, you should have your features follow the template like here:
https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/SNMP_Plugin:Boron:Release_Review#Features

It might be good to just link to those.

Cheers,

CAPWAP looks good to me given the experimental tags for all features.  I have no further questions.

#info CAPWAP approved for Boron.  Congratulations!

An Ho
