Let us know when there is a relatively easy way to test our work, either
by a multi-patch job on the magnesium-mri topic or when offset-0
projects are merged and I will start working on it.So multipatch will not be a reasonable place for at least another week,
as we need to get that onto Java 11, plus there is work in CDS which
needs to be finished -- otherwise CDS will probably be failing around
models containin uint8 & friends.

At this point, though, everything up to and including neutron should be
passing -Pq build, so yeah, you should be able to start of
lispflowmapping if you rebuild your controller -> neutron dependencies
locally.

Abhijit: can you put this on the TSC agenda, please? I may have a
scheduling conflict preventing me from attending, but all the data is
out there and the TSC representatives should be able to provide at least
preliminary committments.

As an unusual wrinkle in this window, we are switching
maven.compiler.release, which means that all Magnesium jobs will need to
be switched to running with JDK11 before MRI integration patches can be
tested. In order to make that switch safely, though, we need to upgrade
maven-javadoc-plugin, and hence integrate
https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/q/topic:"odlparent-5.0.2" into
Magnesium beforehand.

This serves as a heads-up on that I will be asking for supercommitter
rights to integrate that topic sometime next week (probably
Wednesday-Friday).

Given that odlparent-5.0.2 upgrades checkstyle, which needs to be fixed
up, I do plan to merge trivial source code changes, which are split out
and ordered before the actual upgrade (like
https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/c/openflowplugin/+/84246), even if
the committers on affected projects fail to review and merge them
beforehand.

This upgrade will be mirrored on stable/sodium (which is what
odlparent-5.0.x supports primarily) after that release has gone out and
the branch is thawed.
