we (openflowplugin) would like to add support for (at least some features from) OpenFlow protocol v1.5 during Carbon release.

To achieve this we need to made some changes on openflowplugin side but also in openflowjava (support de/serialization of 1.5 messages, maybe also similar 1.4).

I am not sure about the formal process, but I think this milestone should be present in release plans of both projects.

Candidate Release Plan for both must be published by 10/27/2016 so this is just remainder.
