Hi Jake, I've never played with of-dpa, but some things to try: - use our newest release which is Fluorine SR1: https://docs.opendaylight.org/en/stable-fluorine/downloads.html - just install openflowplugin. It will bring in anything else it needs, (e.g. mdsal). I know the website you linked to had a lot of extra features, but if you just want to see an OF switch connect to ODL, it should be ok to just install 'odl-openflowplugin-flow-services-rest' hope it helps Thanks, JamO On 12/4/18 2:10 AM, 김동은 wrote:

Hello, I'm Jake Kim and I am working as a lab intern in Korea University OS lab. I started to learn about SDN just months ago. I want to install the OF-DPA in ODL, but there are so many errors that I can't understand. Although I followed the guideline in OF-DPA website, I failed to install the main features needed for running OF-DPA in switches. (The web site is "http://broadcom-switch.github.io/of-dpa/doc/html/OFDPA_CLIENT_EXAMPLES.html") Especially whenever I installed the 'odl-mdsal-all', ODL broke down. And I tried many types of ODL version: Oxygen, Helium etc. Could I get more information about how to install the OF-DPA in ODL? Thanks for reading! |
