After I installed the feature odl-openflowplugin-flow-services-rest’ in the controllerit works very well!
I really appreciate your helping me.  :)

Maybe keep the "odl-l2switch-all"  feature, as the of-dpa doc was using that feature as well as setting arp config. Try without it first, and then add the feature if things don't look better.

Hi Jake,

I've never played with of-dpa, but some things to try:

- use our newest release which is Fluorine SR1:
 https://docs.opendaylight.org/en/stable-fluorine/downloads.html

- just install openflowplugin. It will bring in anything else it needs,
(e.g. mdsal). I know the website you linked to had a lot of extra
features, but if you just want to see an OF switch connect to ODL,
it should be ok to just install 'odl-openflowplugin-flow-services-rest'

hope it helps

Thanks,
JamO

I want to install the OF-DPA in ODL, but there are so many errors that  I can't understand.
Although I followed the guideline in OF-DPA website, I failed to install the main features needed for running OF-DPA in switches. (The web site is "http://broadcom-switch.github.io/of-dpa/doc/html/OFDPA_CLIENT_EXAMPLES.html")
Especially whenever I installed the 'odl-mdsal-all', ODL broke down.
And I tried many types of ODL version: Oxygen, Helium etc.
Could I get more information about how to install the OF-DPA in ODL?
Thanks for reading!
