Termination / archival proposal / review of your project

Abhijit Kumbhare <abhijitkoss@...>

Dear Project in the project archival list [1],

The OpenDaylight TSC is initiating a termination review [2] in order to archive your project [1], as per section 2.3.5 of the OpenDaylight Project Lifecycle and Releases [3]: it hasn’t had any commits in the last 18 months.

I am also cc'ing the TSC & the release mailing lists. Since we have a few projects to archive, I am putting the email address of all the projects in the "bcc" list.

If you have any comment on this review, including objections or approvals, please respond to this email.

The termination proposal will be reviewed on March 28, 2019 (or sometime thereafter, but comments should be received by then). Please note this is two weeks from today's date (March 14, 2019).

Subject: Termination reviews of inactive projects discussion
To: tsc <tsc@...>

Separating out the reply from the other thread to keep it just a vote conversation rather than reply-all with subject edit (as that keeps the conversation in the same thread - as pointed out by Robert).

Yes, I agree that it will take a little time to do a termination review of all ~20 projects at the same time. Since we have so many at a time - we may want to discuss in a TSC meeting whether it is feasible to do several of these simultaneously.

+1, resolving ~20 projects termination can take some time so I prefer to do the job cleaning now.

Hi TSC,

There has been a discussion on the termination/archival review of inactive projects (that have been inactive for 3 releases) - see the thread: https://lists.opendaylight.org/pipermail/tsc/2019-February/010954.html. See the comments by Luis and Thanh.
