Is our understanding correct, that support of *urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:yang:iana-if-type?revision=**2014-05-08**)iana-if-type *is been stopped in Neon-Sr1 and hence the exception?
Query: Is it possible to support backward compatibility? Say, Controller in Neon-Sr1 to support both the device types, one which supports older iana-if-type(2014-05-08) and also one that supports latest (2018-07-03)? If so, how?
I think both models *could* be loaded at the same time, but I am not sure about the interactions with other models.
A completely-correct solution would need to perform inter-revision adaptation, which noone has sponsored (yet).
